What is the BTA Archive?

The BTA Archive is a secure online library of recorded lectures and mock interview sessions developed by the BAPIO Training Academy. It supports doctors preparing for Royal College examinations and Fellowship programmes by providing flexible, on-demand access to high-quality teaching delivered by experienced UK clinicians.


Once approved, you'll receive secure access to your allocated content for 2 years.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does access last?
Access is granted for 2 years from the date your request is approved. After that, it expires automatically. You're welcome to submit a new request at any time.
What Google account do I need?
You must use the Gmail or Google Workspace address you provide in the form. You'll need to be signed in to Google with that email address to open the content folder.
How long does approval take?
Our team aims to review all requests within 3 working days. You'll receive a confirmation email as soon as your access is ready.
What if the video won't play straight away?
Newly added recordings can take a few minutes to process for playback. Please wait a moment and refresh the page — it will become playable shortly.
Can I download the recordings?
No — recordings are available for streaming only. Downloads are not enabled. This ensures content remains secure and accessible only to approved individuals.
I'm not a BTA trainee. Can I still apply?
Access is currently available to BTA trainees and to applicants shortlisted for the BTA Fast Track Programme. If you've been invited as part of the selection process, please complete the form using the details provided to you.
I haven't heard back after submitting — what should I do?
Please allow a few working days before following up. If you haven't received a response after 5 working days, contact us at info@bta-uk.org quoting the email address you used in the form.
Can I request access to more than one subject?
Each form submission covers one content category. If you need access to multiple subjects, please submit a separate request for each — our team will process them together where possible.
